Special Requirements: A working knowledge of dealing with various (compressed) file formats is required in addition to a knowledge of the ARC/INFO software itself in order to make use of the datasets available at this location. And last but not the least - this thing called disk (storage) space. Some of the export files may expand to 60 megs!
Most datasets are in Idaho Transverse Mercator projection. See projection.txt for the necessary parameters. For more information on Idaho Transverse Mercator, please visit Idaho Department of Water Resources discussion.
The current version of WinZip will uncompress both the .zip and .Z files from this page. You can use either ArcInfo, ArcToolbox or the import utility of ArcView to import the .e00 files into usable coverages. If you do not have any of these applications, you can download a data translator from GeoCommunity's software page.
